Mission

Growing Healthy Food, Sharing with All

Behind the hedges and garden fences, our allotments serve a vital purpose. In Barnet, many families still face the challenge of affording fresh, nutritious food. That's why our dedicated plot holders generously donate their surplus fresh produce to be sold at our special Fresh Produce Stall during events like our Open Day. All proceeds from our Open Day, including sales from the Produce Stall, go directly to the Chipping Barnet Food Bank.

Our Faq's

How Can We Help You?

Our Open Day is on Sunday, 7th September 2025, from 12 PM - 4 PM. You'll find us at the Allotment , Clifford Road, Barnet, Herts, EN5 5NY. Entry to the Open Day is via Clifford Road.

Entry is £1 per adult (aged 16-64). Children (under 16), elderly visitors (65+), and disabled visitors (and accompanying carers) get in FREE.

Loads! We'll have a BBQ, Cake Stall, fresh "Make Your Own Salad Station," preserves, plant sales, tombola, live music, apple pressing, children's activities, and opportunities to chat with plot holders. It's a great day out for everyone.

Monique's Story

The New Barnet Allotment Society is proudly run by a dedicated team of volunteer plot holders who form our Committee. We work tirelessly behind the scenes to manage our two sites (Clifford Road and Tudor Road), support our 160 individual plot holders across 132 plots, organize events like our Open Day, and drive our mission to empower the community through healthy food.
