About the Open Day
Our Open Day is on Sunday, 7th September 2025, from 12 PM - 4 PM. You'll find us at the Allotment , Clifford Road, Barnet, Herts, EN5 5NY. Entry to the Open Day is via Clifford Road.
Entry is £1 per adult (aged 16-64). Children (under 16), elderly visitors (65+), and disabled visitors (and accompanying carers) get in FREE.
Loads! We'll have a BBQ, Cake Stall, fresh "Make Your Own Salad Station," preserves, plant sales, tombola, live music, apple pressing, children's activities, and opportunities to chat with plot holders. It's a great day out for everyone.
Yes, absolutely! We're pet-friendly, just please ensure your dog is on a lead at all times.
Yes! Our expansive grounds feature wide, accessible paths designed to be wheelchair and pram-friendly, ensuring easy exploration for all.
Limited car parking is available close to Tudor Park. Please note that entry to the Open Day is via Clifford Road.
Our society comprises two sites, Clifford Road and Tudor Road, with a combined total of 132 plots and around 160 plot holders. The Open Day is held on the Clifford Road site, which is an expansive 8.6-acre green space.

What's the best way to get to the Open Day?
Our full address is Allotment, Clifford Road, Barnet, Herts, EN5 5NY.
- By Bus: The 184 bus route stops conveniently near Clifford Road. Other routes, including the 107, 307, 326, and 384, stop on Station Road, New Barnet, which is a short walk away.
- By Train:Take the Overground to New Barnet station.
- By Underground: The nearest stations are High Barnet (Northern Line) and Cockfosters (Piccadilly Line).
- By Car: Limited car parking is available close to Tudor Park. Entry to the Open Day is via Clifford Road.
About Our Missions & Donations
All proceeds from our Open Day go directly to the Chipping Barnet Food Bank. Every pound helps us combat food insecurity in Barnet.
The Chipping Barnet Food Bank will also be present on the day, ready to accept direct food donations. Look for their Food Bank Box where you can contribute non-perishable food items directly.
Yes, our commitment goes beyond the Open Day! Our plot holders continuously donate surplus fresh produce, which we proudly collect and deliver to the Chipping Barnet Food Bank up to 4 times a week, year-round.
Many families in Barnet struggle to afford healthy, nutritious food, especially during and after school holidays when children miss free school meals. Your support helps provide vital food and combat malnutrition for vulnerable families and elderly residents.

Absolutely! Plot holders' donated produce for our Fresh Produce Stall is vital. Please drop off most produce by Saturday, 6th September (6 PM), and delicate items like lettuce by Sunday, 7th September (11 AM) at the Trading Hut.
